金龟子总科（Scarabaeoidea）俗称金龟子或金龟甲[1]，是多食亚目昆虫之下的一个总科，由独自一个总科构成金龟子下目（Scarabaeiformia）。本总科与隐翅虫下目之下三个总科的关系密切[2]。在这个总科之下有约35,000个物种，而且每年都有约200个新物种被发现[3]。现时本总科之下的各科亦在重组中，所以以下分类列表仍有可能变动。
